Benidorm praised for efficient water usage

Benidorm has been praised for having one of the most efficient water consumption systems in Spain. Lack of water is a problem in many parts of Spain, but it is reported that Benidorm is using the same amount of water as it was 35 years ago, despite the quadrupling of its population. A study carried out by the sociologist Mario Gaviria shows water consumption now is practically the same as in 1975. A remarkable achievement.
